Our Story

Empowering youth
since 1992.

Who We Are

We believe every young person deserves to see what's possible.

Founded in 1992, Another Way Out was built on a simple but powerful belief: that every young person, regardless of their circumstances, deserves the chance to see a bigger picture of what their life can be.

We focus on creating real opportunities for youth — motivating them to stay in school, resist negative peer pressure, and steer clear of teen parenthood, drugs, violence, and other risky behaviors. For over 30 years, we've walked alongside young people and their communities, helping them choose another way forward.

What We Stand For

Our core values

Youth First

Every decision we make centers on what's best for young people — their safety, growth, and long-term wellbeing.

Stay in School

We motivate youth to see education as their greatest tool for building the future they deserve.

Resist Peer Pressure

We equip young people with the confidence and skills to make their own choices — even when it's hard.

Broaden Horizons

We create opportunities for youth to see beyond their immediate circumstances and imagine what's truly possible.

Community-Centered

Lasting change happens when families, schools, and neighbors work together. We build those bridges.

Proven Impact

Our programs are grounded in evidence and continuously evaluated to ensure they make a real difference in young lives.
